Things to do in Brookhaven ~ Head to Chamblee this Saturday Aug 21, 2010!
If you have not been paying attention lately, Chamblee Georgia is becoming a hip place to hang out, work and play. Vintage Pizza has been doing a great business since they opened a few years back. Frosty Caboose opened an ice cream shop right across the street from the popular pizza place and they have been doing a rocking business. The New Chamblee Farmers Market started this summer which is located in the Frosty Caboose parking lot on Saturday mornings from 8:30 -11:30am. This Saturday the Taste Chamblee will hold it's 3rd event and from what I can see this year will blow the other two years away. Now that many residents of Brookhaven and other Chamblee areas are making the town square more of a destination to pick up local produce and dine, this year's "Taste" should be a fun time. The Taste of Chamblee is from 11:30 - 8pm, so you have plenty of time to get some things done and then head over for lunch or dinner while listening to music and mingling with your neighbors.
