I just attended a series of great classes a few weeks ago on Real Estate Owned (REO) properties, helping sellers with short sales, and selling and buying foreclosure properties. Soon I will be writing more about why it is important to use an REO specialist when buying a foreclosure. The education an REO specialist has compared to a regular agent can be the difference between your offer being accepted by the bank or not.

Fewer than one percent of all real estate licensees have earned this recognition.
The American Real Estate University (AREU) is a professional association comprised of real estate and professionals and affiliates focused on real estate education.
